Ray tracing: which games have it, which cards can take it
Of the 36 games whose features we have confirmed, 9 use ray tracing — but a traced shadow and fully traced lighting are very different loads. Games are grouped by how heavy their version is, and cards by how far up that scale they reach.

Ray tracing questions
Which graphics cards can do ray tracing at all?
NVIDIA from the RTX 20 series onward, AMD from the Radeon RX 6000 series onward, and every Intel Arc card. Older cards such as the GTX range lack the dedicated hardware.
Why does the same card handle one ray-traced game and struggle in another?
Because "ray tracing" covers anything from one traced shadow pass to fully traced lighting. That is why the games here are grouped by how heavy their implementation is rather than listed together.
What should I lower first if ray tracing is too slow?
Turn on upscaling (DLSS, FSR or XeSS) before anything else, then step the ray-tracing preset down. Switching it off entirely is the last resort in games designed around it.
Is a game missing from this page unsupported?
Not necessarily. We have confirmed features for 36 games so far; a game outside that set may well have ray tracing.
