Terms of use

Using canitrunpc.com means accepting the terms below. They are written to be read, not skimmed past.

The service

CanItRunPC is a free website that compares PC hardware with the requirements of PC games: requirement checks, frame-rate estimates, pairing and upgrade suggestions, hardware rankings and power-supply sizing. It is offered for information.

Estimates are guidance

Frame rates, bottleneck gaps, resale values, wattages and similar outputs are produced by models from published requirements and hardware data. Your real results depend on drivers, game updates, settings, cooling, memory configuration and the individual parts in your PC. Please check independent reviews — and the seller’s return policy — before spending money on the strength of a figure from this site.

Requirements can change

Publishers revise requirements, especially before release. We update our copy, but the store page remains the authoritative version, and each game page links to it.

Using our content

You are welcome to link to any page and to quote short parts with a link back. Without written permission you may not:

  • copy the site, its tables or its dataset in bulk, by scraping or otherwise;
  • send traffic intended to overload or break the service, or try to access parts of it that aren’t public;
  • pass our estimates off as measured benchmark results.

Names and trademarks

Game titles, logos, and hardware brand and model names belong to their owners and are used only to identify the products. CanItRunPC is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

Links to other sites

Pages link to store listings and sources elsewhere. Those sites are outside our control and have their own terms.

No warranty; limited liability

The site is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, CanItRunPC is not liable for losses arising from using it or relying on its output, including purchases made on that basis.

Changes

These terms may be revised; the date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
